Switching function, installation and application environment

The operating principle of the Nova 101N doorbell switch is the same as that of the single-pole 101 switch, however, in this case, a built-in spring automatically reopens the circuit after the finger is removed – making it ideal for controlling doorbells, gatebells or other pulse-controlled devices. It works by breaking the phase wire, leaving the neutral wire untouched. The switch is frameless, compatible with standard modular fixture families, screw-mounted and suitable for flush mounting. It does not include a light insert. The IP20 protection rating allows for dry, indoor use only, for example in hallways, corridors or near entrance doors. It cannot be used in damp or outdoor environments. In all cases, the connection should be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with the applicable regulations.
